Emily Nickerson is a Research Analyst with Mining Shared Value, a venture of Engineers Without Borders. Before joining, Emily worked with Pollen Group evaluating systems-change approaches to agricultural market development in Tanzania. Previously at Purpose Capital, an impact investment advisory firm, she supported business plan development for social enterprises to launch and grow. Emily’s research experience includes using participatory engagement to address issues of water management and infrastructure in Canadian Indigenous communities. She holds a degree in Water Resources Engineering at the University of Guelph.
