I am a woman, mother, artist, dreamer, painter, listener, a hopeful and devoted lover of stories and storytelling. I am an immigrant, twice a settler, living in Canada born in Israel on Palestinian land. Birthed to parents who themselves are twice immigrants and children of Holocaust survivors, who themselves migrated for safety. I am drawn passionately to the healing spaces that stories and narratives create where otherness becomes indifferent to the moment of exchange between entities. In the process of unraveling these personal stories are moments of connections to other people, to a greater wholeness of oneself creating an accessible opportunity for individual and communal growth. My work is made with a passion for these moments and for the complexities of lived experiences. Through the dynamic stories that have moulded and fashioned me into this woman, I recognize myself as a constantly changing/shifting place where multiple identities exist as a gift from compassion herself.
