This screening & discussion will feature three short films from filmmakers at Wapikoni Mobile. Wapikoni mobile travels to First Nations communities primarily in Quebec to assist individuals in directing and producing short films and music videos. The film screening & discussion are a part of a project called my reconciliation, which has been organized by a team of Studio [Y] Fellows at the MaRS Discovery District, with the guidance of the 4Rs Youth Movement. Attendees to this session will be invited to consider their own context and social location within the the context of Canada and will also be introduced to creative methods of activism/movement-building by playing a card game developed by the my reconciliation team.
