Enabling Student-Driven Engineering Engagement In K-12

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

There are numerous STEM offerings focusing on K-12 schools across the country that are doing great work. However, the many offerings can sometimes be overwhelming to students, teachers, and parents. In addition, there are over 15,000 schools in Canada, many in remote areas. Both of these factors make it difficult for meaningful and cohesive promotion of engineering to students. In this session, delegates will have the opportunity to develop concepts to inform a "Future Engineers" club structure as a scaffolding for lasting and resilient activation of student drivent engineering engagement in K-12 schools
