Role Models: How Everyday People Make or Break Movements

We will explore the importance of role models in sustaining current power structures and more importantly changing those structures. The session will specifically focus on engineering education, prevalent stereotypes, and role models within. It will also look at how role models can be used to help the profession actively evolve, become more cohesive, and make meaningful contributions to society.
